Studio sessions hold a special place in my heart, serving as a canvas for the artistry of portrait photography. Within the confines of a small space, the challenge of artificial lighting becomes a muse, urging me to push the boundaries of creativity in poses and lighting scenarios.
Recently, I had the pleasure of photographing my gorgeous cousin, Viviana, during her visit to Napa Valley. My studio became an intimate setting where we could focus on capturing the essence of her personality and natural beauty. Opting for a dark background provided the perfect canvas to play with shadows and depth, creating a series of portraits that highlighted Vivi's natural en effortless beauty in every frame. We played with angles, experimented with shadows, and embraced the interplay between light and darkness.
My cousin’s presence in front of the camera was not only a photographic experience but a delightful journey of shared moments and laughter.
