Last year, I had the pleasure of photographing my dear friend Jaymi and her beautiful family. Jaymi truly is a beautiful soul— a loving wife, devoted mother, and cherished friend. Her deep connection with the Lord is not only evident but also exudes a contagious warmth that touches everyone around her. I was super honored and excited when she asked me if I could capture precious moments of her family through my lens.
One of the key aspects we emphasized during the photoshoot was the importance of capturing the essence of each family member. From the infectious energy of the youngest to the quiet wisdom in the eyes of the oldest and the warm embraces between parents. Choosing to meet an hour before sunset allowed us to indulge in the enchanting golden hour. The soft, diffused light created a warm and ethereal ambiance, giving an extra touch of magic to the images.
