ABOUT MARIANA

Hey there, PURA VIDA!

I’m so glad you found me and that you’re taking the time to learn about me and my work.

I’m Mariana, the TICA behind the lens! I’m a wife and a mom to two wonderful kids. In 2016, I moved from Costa Rica’s rainforest to Napa Valley’s wine country after meeting my husband, David, while filming a travel show about food and wine in wine country. That experience changed my life, and I’ve been loving every second of this journey ever since.

I started my photography business in 2018, and I’m forever grateful that I get to pursue my life’s passion as a career while meeting so many incredible people along the way. The uniqueness of each story and every client I photograph is what inspires me daily.

Trust me, I’ve been in your shoes before, and I know how vulnerable it can feel to be in front of the camera. My main goal is not only for you to LOVE your photos but also to have THE BEST EXPERIENCE while being photographed. I’m here to make the process fun, relaxed, and effortless from beginning to end—and guide you through it all.
